LITTLE EGRETS OF EMSWORTH

Little Egrets are now such a common sight around our shores, that we hardly give them a second glance. It is amazing to think that not more than 15 years ago they were almost unheard of in this country. I recall the excitement of seeing them for the first time in Spain. Despite being quite common birds they are incredibly striking birds, elegant and graceful in their feeding and they are very very photogenic. So, here are a few of my own snaps of local birds, all taken in Emsworth.
